While configuring the AudioCodes gateway Mediant 1000, we experienced an issue with outgoing calls - A timer was active somewhere (on PBX), which was disconnecting calls after few seconds (5 seconds) once a session is active. The logs via ACSyslog suggested it as "Abnormal Disconnect cause: 102 # GWAPP_RECOVERY_ON_TIMER_EXPIRY".
By changing the protocol type from "EI EURO ISDN" to "E1 QSIG" resolved the issue. This setting is under Configuration (Full Mode) -> VOIP -> PSTN -> Trunk Setting.
